Whenever There's A Chance For Wildfire, What If You'd Be Watching With An Unblinking Eye?

Accurate Round-The-Clock Monitoring, Without A Chance For Errors

The DDS WFDS system provides continuous day and night monitoring of high value areas and structures in the urban-wildland interface, wildland intermix, local, state and national parks, commercial timber, historical buildings and petroleum infrastructure in remote areas. The system is typically configured as a local area network with up to 16 remote sensor locations (each with a coverage area of over 100 sq miles/300 sq Km) being monitored by a central command and control center.

Wildfire detection means leveraging available resources, including human monitors. The system enhances human monitoring capability by allowing one person to effectively and accurately monitor thousands of square miles of wildfire-prone areas through automated recognition of smoke or flame.
